Hiccup
Hiccup
Created through the collaborative exhibition Play ▶︎ with JR Roykovich, Hiccup explores play as a method for discovery and image-making. The series investigates the relationship between natural and digital forms of light by combining photographic processes with RGB color separation, distortion, and glitch-based interventions.
The title references moments of interruption small breaks in rhythm that create opportunities for transformation. Rather than treating digital glitches as errors, the work embraces them as playful disruptions that reveal the hidden structures behind photographic images. Through the collision of organic light and digital systems, Hiccup explores how perception shifts between the physical world and the constructed spaces of technology.
